The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future. No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage of the young people.

YOUTH POLICIES

Youth empowerment is the creation of an environment for the youth to have the freedom to choose, participate, and take decisions by themselves, for themselves. It enables the youth to be active participants in both the process of development and the final product. The advantageous outcomes to youth empowerment programs and events are developed social skills, enriched behaviour, increased academic achievement, better self-esteem and increased self-efficacy. Youth empowerment in any development is vital not only for development of a country but also for personal development of a young individual.

EDUCATION

Education and skills development are permanent processes that are significant to the complete and cohesive development of youth. Educational and skills development facilities and equipment should accommodate the ever-increasing number and altering needs of the youth. There should also be an increase in career guidance and counselling services. Suitable measures should be taken to support underprivileged youth at all levels of education and skills development through social protection, loans, grants, cadetship, scholarships, etc.

The central importance of art, culture, sports and recreation for the complete and cohesive development of youth. The rich cultural values of India must be introduced and taught to the youth. Participation in art, cultural, sports and recreational activities by youth must be encouraged. The integration of education with art, culture, sports and recreation is vital for youth empowerment.

WORLD CLASS UNITS

Youth United Council Of India is devoted to excellence in teaching, learning, and research, and developing leaders in many disciplines who make a difference globally.

  • Public Grievance Unit – This unit acts as a platform to find and try bureaucratic solutions to resolve issues that hinder growth and development of youth.
  • External Affairs Unit – This unit is responsible for building and maintaining relations with individuals and organizations that help our cause.
  • Women and Child Unit –  This unit acts a platform that finds solutions to resolve issues that obstruct overall development of women and child.
  • Tribal Unit – This unit is responsible to protect the vibrant cultures of tribal communities of India.
  • Law and Social Justice Unit – This is unit ensures that fair practices are conducted that lead to empowerment of youth.
  • Student Unit – This unit acts as a platform where the young intellectual minds come together for youth growth and development.
  • Election Unit – This unit promotes effective participation of youth in electoral politics.
  • Human Rights Unit – This unit promotes the basic rights and freedoms that apply to each and every individual regardless of gender, race, caste and creed.
  • Corruption Prevention Unit – This unit promotes effective and co-ordinated policies to prevent corruption.
  • Entrepreneurship Unit – This unit acts as a platform to support and encourage youth with entrepreneurial spirit and mind.
  • Advisory and Planning Unit – This unit is the backbone of the organization and helps in planning and processing.
  • Research and Analysis Unit – This unit is the platform for research and analysis which will aim to promote empowerment of youth.
  • Environment Unit – This unit helps in protection and preservation of ecosystem and environment.
  • Art and Culture Unit – This unit acts as a platform for youth to showcase their talent in various effervescent arts and cultures of India.
  • Consumer and Employment Unit – This unit is responsible for protection of consumers and employees.
  • Media Unit – This unit is responsible to promote the organization through various bodies of media.
  • Sports Unit – This unit acts as a platform for youth to showcase their talent in sports.
  • LGBTQ+ Unit – This unit works to break the stigma and eliminate any discrimination in society about the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Language Unit – This unit aims to protect each and every individual language of India.
  • Youth with Disability Unit – This unit acts as platform for the youth with disabilities to shine and to eliminate any discrimination against them.
